It is quite a feeling, especially when it is something you’ve never attempted before. The children served by Footpath Foundation are not likely to have had many opportunities for outdoor adventures.

So we provide those experiences, which range from tackling high-ropes courses, fishing, hiking in national, state and local parks, and visiting nature centers, working farms, orchards and urban gardens. These experiences broaden a child’s understanding of the natural world — and how they personally fit into it.
